If you were a teenager in the 90's you sure know who B*witched are. Catchy tunes, Irish vibe, dynamic coreographies, nice harmonies and lots of denim were the main features of this irish girlband. B*witched rose to fame in 1998 with their debut single C'est La Vie who topped the UK and Irish charts. In total they released two Top 10 albums, 4 number one singles and 4 Top 20 singles. The group sold 3 million albums worldwide.
After the Spice Girls split up they were my favourite girlband and I still love them!

What You Need To Know
First Album Era |
B*Witched's second album, Awake and Breathe, released almost exactly a year after their debut, peaked at number 5 on the charts and was certified Platinum. Sadly singles from the album were less successful than earlier releases ("Jesse Hold On" reached number 4, "I Shall Be There" number 13 and "Jump Down" number 16 in the UK).
Awake & Breathe Era |
The girls starte touring America and released a compilation album "Across America 2000" that sold reasonably well.
By 2002, a third album was in the works, and the band had chosen the first song from that album which they were to release as a single . The video was done and the girls were due to fly to Africa when they received a phone call from their manager. They were told that their management was not going ahead with the third album, and that their record label Sony had dropped them. A discussion took place amongst the members of the group in relation to finding another record label. However, in September 2002, the group officially split when O'Carroll decided to leave the band. In 2012 members will reveal how the decision to call it a day influenced their lives. Keavy Lynch said she struggled with depression for years before becoming a counselor.
In 2012 B*witched reunited for ITV Show The Big Reunion alongside Atomic Kitten, 5ive and 911 among others.
They are currently touring UK with THe Big Reunion Tour and have released a new single through you tube called Love&Money. There are no official plans to release new material.
